Music is a light that illuminates our path and that of others.
Music is an artistic expression that connects us with our emotions, our culture and our identity. Music is also a powerful tool for human development, especially for children and young people who face situations of social vulnerability. Therefore, at CHURROMANIA® we believe in the importance of supporting music education as part of our social responsibility program.
Since 2009, we created an organization in Venezuela called Viva La Música, which provides musical training opportunities to children and young people with limited resources, in order to improve their quality of life and their social integration. Following that same idea, since September 2022, we have become sponsors of the Miami Music Project, a non-profit organization that uses music as an instrument of social transformation, empowering children and young people to acquire values and reach their maximum potential. , positively affecting their society through the study and performance of music.
The Miami Music Project offers free extracurricular programming to students, regardless of race or economic status. To date, it has reached more than 31,000 children and youth throughout Miami-Dade County, becoming one of the largest socially transformative music initiatives in the United States. The students, in addition to receiving musical education, receive snacks and tutoring.
Music education accelerates brain development, increases academic success, and fosters important lifelong benefits for those who have access to it. Furthermore, it turns them in one way or another into agents of change, capable of contributing to a more just, peaceful and supportive society.
We are proud to support the Miami Music Project and contribute to the education of these young people, because we know the impact it can have on society.
